Sophie Kinsella lives in England with her family. She is a former financial journalist whose childhood dream was to be one of the orphans in the stage show Annie. She is the author of the bestselling Shopaholic novels, and while she thought that Shopaholic Ties The Knot was going to be the last of the series, she admits that she fell in love with the character Becky, so there is in fact going to be another one. There is talk that the shopaholic series is going to be made into a movie.
